She lives in Rome with her children Zoe and Emanuele and grew up in a culturally lively and stimulating context thanks to her humanities studies and to the artistic influence of her grandmother, the painter Anna Grauso.
The experience she has gained working in some fashion houses, such as Nathalie Naim and Malloni, has strengthened her skills in the field of restyling, featuring expertly altered vintage garments and unusual, de-contextualised materials to create original and exclusive pieces.
As Fashion Consulting Designer Alessandra has conceived and developed the Billionaire Italian Couture Women’s Collections for SS 2011 and AW 2011-2012, including haute-couture apparel, jeans, leather garments, furs, shoes, bags and belts.
To the cry “I want to feel free” she founded her own brand Morfosis in 2004 and in 2008 was finalist at the fourth edition of Vogue WHO’S ON NEXT.
We have come a long way since then.
Her firm belief in her skills led Alessandra through international shows and exhibitions in Paris, Tokyo, Florence, Milan and Rome and made her clothes worn by sophisticated women such as the French pianists Katia and Marielle Labeque, the Russian violinist Viktoria Mullova, the British director Martha Fiennes, the director Rebecca Miller and the singer Madonna.
