AW15/16
a MODERN TALE
The Morfosis woman believes in using her wardrobe as a form of personal expression and marks her place in the world through shapes and materials.
The designer has given a modern, urban twist to the collection where the mystery and charm of a gothic tale coexist and nothing is superfluous
The collection presents a perfect balance between contrasting shapes, length and volume to create an effortless look.
Long, masculine-style coats that open up like wings, little shoulders and flared lines, wide bottom trousers above bare ankles, enveloping capes and jackets that design experimental silhouettes and are cut with minimalism in mind.
Organic luxury features in the fabric textures amid precious linear styles and hand crafted coarseness. Fur, leather, gathering and uneven, two-dimensional pleats are crafted entirely by hand and reworked and transformed with the addition of black and white graphics printed on feather-light silk satins.
Monochrome, pure white or dark, the Morfosis woman wears layers and stars in her own creative voyage, searching for the equilibrium between metaphysical and material, oversize and perfect fit, androgynous and feminine pieces, to weave a poetically dark tale.
